Workshop se uskuteční ve dvou dnech. Workshop povedou dva členové ESWO (European SignWriters Organisation) z Belgie (Thierry Haesenne) a Polska (Lucyna Dlugolecka).

Komu je workshop určen?
Všem, kdo se zajímají o SignWriting, chtějí se o něm dozvědět více a naučit se znakový jazyk číst a psát.

Program:
Historie SignWriting
Seznámení se symboly a pravidly pro zápis znaků
a hlavně: dozvíte se jak číst a psát znakový jazyk.

Neděle:
15 - 18h: Historie SignWriting,
základní symboly a pravidla.

Pondělí:
9 - 12: Symboly a pravidla pro zápis znaků.
13 - 16: Texty v SignWriting

Místo konání:
ČUN Praha, Dlouhá třída 37

Jazyky:
Lektoři budou přednášet v IS (mezinárodním znakovém systému) s texty v psané angličtině a češtině. V případě potřeby bude operativně tlumočen do ČZJ nebo mluvené češtiny.

Účastnický poplatek:
Cena za oba dny je 100 Kč (za jeden den 50 Kč).

Course Outline
Developing skills interpreting into and out of Spoken English from a Signed Language.

Aims
To develop awareness and understanding of the key skills underpinning working between spoken English and a Sign Language.

Objectives
. To develop strategies and techniques to effectively prepare for an interpreting assignment.
. To extend and enhance interpreting strategies for working at a discourse level.
. To develop skills in using linguistic and interpreting research information to improve self- reflection.
. To develop and practice analytical skills.
. To develop and practice interpreting skills.
. To practice giving and receiving feedback between peers.

In interpreting performance the interpreter should pay attention to the clarity of the target language, the coherence of ideas in the target language, the use of cohesion marker and the processing of information from the source to the target language. These issues will be addressed and as the course goes on less time will be used on prepared interpretations leading to a greater confidence in live simultaneous interpreting into and out of spoken English.
